VINTAGE Grape Antique Barbour Silverplate Large Handled Ice Bucket A Rare Find!

We are pleased to offer this handled ice bucket by Barbour Silver Co., circa late 1890s/early 1900s.  It stands 8 1/4" tall, and with the handle extended is measures 14 1/2" tall and a diameter of 7 1/2".  The bucket has 4 marks as most of the good Barbour pieces usually are.  In excellent condition, there are no monograms, silver loss or wear, shadows or rubs on the body.  The handle shows a small dent on each side from where it hit the "body stud" so as not to dent the body.  There is also a spot of wear on the handle from usage.
This is by far the most unique piece of Barbour we have ever had the pleasure to present.  We are unable to determine if this was a regular production piece, special order or one of a kind.  In 35 years of buying and selling this is the first we have ever seen, much less offered for sale.  This certainly ranks as a "must have" for the serious Barbour collector as well as Grape lover!!
