Description
Antique, ornate silver plated pedestal compote with majestic face and gargoyles handles. Oval hallmark "WURTTEMBERG SILVER PLATE CO. GEISLINGEN". 10 5/8"Diameter (without handles) x 3 1/4"H. Selling in as found condition. Slightly out of shape balance, (photos 10 & 11). Narrow gap between bowl and decorative rim of bowl, near each handle, approximately 2" - 3" long, (not obvious, see last photo). Two small dents on shell/ribbed area of bowl, and some shallow dents outside the shell area. Patina has tarnish and wear. Seller has not polished. 12 photos are a part of this description.
